Baillie, VN cert V

Baillie is our enthusiastic and cheerful kiwi import, having been born and raised in Taranaki, New Zealand. She spent her childhood surrounded by beautiful beaches and the beloved Mount Taranaki. She initially worked and travelled around Australia in Sydney and Melbourne before returning home to study veterinary nursing. In 2015, she graduated from WINTEC (Waikato Institute of Technology) after attaining her level 5 certificate in Veterinary Nursing.

She has worked in the veterinary nursing industry for 6 years, and in the summer of 2017/2018 went to Rarotonga, where she volunteered for the Te Are Manu Veterinary clinic for 4 months. There she integrated in the friendly local culture, enjoying the scenery but most of all she loved helping animals in need and doing what she could for the community.

Baillie was locuming in Sydney before taking up her position with Hallam Vet Clinic and is super excited to be pursuing her keen interest in dentistry. She is looking forward to developing her knowledge with the team and meeting all our wonderful clients.

In addition to surgical nursing, Baillie will be running our nurse clinics, which will consist of weight and nutrition management for our clients, nail trims, puppy classes and a wide array of other services.
